Why did Internet Explorer slow down after I installed the Toolbar?
If Microsoft Internet Explorer is unusually slow since you
installed the Toolbar, it is likely caused by the PageRank
feature on your Google Toolbar. Often, users who work behind
a firewall or proxy encounter this problem.
Unfortunately, we do not have a complete solution to pass
along at this time. In the meantime, you can resolve your
browser difficulties by disabling PageRank.
If you're using Google Toolbar 4.0, please follow the
instructions below:
1. Click the "Settings" button on your Toolbar and choose
"Options."
2. Select the "More" tab, and un-check the box next to
"PageRank and PageRank info."
3. Click "OK."
If you're using the Google Toolbar 3.0, please follow the
instructions below:
1. Click the "Options" button on your Toolbar.
2. Un-check the box next to "PageRank display."
3. Click "OK."
